You will learn the characteristics and behaviors of people with violent intentions and their escalators to violence and de-escalators from violence. You have probably heard of the “fight, flight or freeze” syndrome during a threatening event. This is a physiological response that is present in all people, and it dictates how we react in a crisis situation. However, “freezing” the third and frequently most common is not a survival option. You will learn our trademarked ACTION® life-saving tactics and techniques to prevent, prepare, mitigate, respond and recover from an active threat situation. This training will provide critical information on how to respond appropriately by creating a mental map and conditioned response of how to survive.
